The Fairfield Art Association is offering a unique opportunity to learn the art of linoleum woodblock printmaking this June, led by accomplished Fairfield artist John Schirmer.
Schirmer brings four decades of printmaking experience to the class and has received numerous awards for his work across the country. Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced artist looking to expand your skills, the class is open to all adult students.
The course consists of four Saturday sessions running June 6th through June 27th, from 10:00 a.m. to noon each week, held in the FAA Studio inside the Fairfield Arts and Convention Center. Each session will include a lecture and demonstration from Schirmer, with students working on their own original print throughout the course. A class fee of $100 covers all materials.
