Martin Dean Kreutzbender of O’Fallon, MO died April 6, 2026 at his home.
He was born on February 23, 1964 in Ottumwa, Iowa to Evelyn Reardon Kreutzbender and Jack Kreutzbender.
A graduate of Ottumwa High School and Indian Hills Community College with a degree in Robotics/Automation Technology. Marty spent most of his career in Arizona before moving to O’Fallon to work for MEMC Electronics and the Fort Zumwalt School District.
Marty enjoyed playing his electric guitars beginning in high school as a member of the band, Freeway and later Midnight Lace I and II. He played off and on for enjoyment. He loved reading and watching sporting events.
Surviving are his daughters, Kira (Bruce) Androsian of Whittaker, Michigan and Alexi Kreutzbender of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; 2 grandchildren Willow and Silas Androsian; siblings Janet Lagerstrom of Bloomfield, Iowa, Jim Kreutzbender of McMinnville Oregon, Ron Kreutzbender of Austin, Minnesota, Joann (Doug) Craft of St. Peters, MO and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Susan Kreutzbender and sister- in- law, Nancy Kreutzbender.
His body has been cremated. A visitation will be from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Friday May 8, 2026 at Reece Funeral Home. A memorial service will begin at 1 p.m. Friday with Father Isaac Doucette officiating. Inurnment will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.
