Judy Roberts, 85, of Oskaloosa, died Monday, April 20, 2026, at the MHP Hospital in Oskaloosa.
A memorial service will be held May 2, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in the Bates Funeral Chapel in Oskaloosa. As was Judy’s wish her body has been cremated. She and her husband Jake’s urns will be buried together at Forest Cemetery in Oskaloosa. The Bates Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements. The family will be at the funeral chapel from 9:00 – 11:00 May 2, 2026 to greet friends and relatives. Following the burial the family will greet friends and relatives at Bridgett’s Public House in Oskaloosa for continued fellowship and refreshments. Memorials may be made to FSHD, the type of muscular dystrophy Judy battled most of her life.
