Keith William Johnson, 68, of Agency, died at 6:16 p.m. October 29, 2025 at Jefferson County Health Center in Fairfield.
He was born September 28, 1957 in Ottumwa to Francis and Beverly Riggs Johnson. Keith married Deanna Kay Shipley on August 6, 1977.
A 1977 graduate of Cardinal High School, Keith had lived in Batavia as well as in Agency.
Keith worked over 40 years at Dexter Foundry, retiring in 2018. He loved watching the Kansas City Chiefs, Allis Chalmers tractors and especially loved time with his grandchildren.
Surviving is his wife, Deanna; their children, Nicholas (Kristie) Johnson of Eldon, Natalie (Daniel) Kopsieker of Hedrick, Matthew (Cristie) Johnson of Edina, MO Kevin Johnson of Agency and Samantha (Brett) Haynes of Libertyville; 9 grandchildren, Kayvin, Owyn, Reagen, Madison, Dylan, Noah, Jeremiah, Zackariah and Alijah; 3 step-grandchildren, Shelby, Lexi and Ian; 2 step-great-grandchildren, Lilly and J.J.; his mother, Beverly Ruggles of Alba, TX; his siblings, James (Marilyn) Johnson of Bloomfield, Hank (Melanie) Johnson of Windsor, MO, Deborah (Dru) Davis of Alba, TX and Michael Johnson (Tiffany Keller) of Norwalk.
Keith was preceded in death by his father, Francis Johnson and a brother, Jerry Johnson.
His body has been cremated. Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Monday, November 3rd, at Reece Funeral Home with his brother, James Johnson, officiating. The family will be present to greet friends one hour prior to the service.
