October 15, 2025 – In-person absentee voting can begin, and
absentee ballots can be mailed out.
- October 20, 2025 – Voters that want an absentee ballot mailed to
them must submit a written absentee ballot request by 5 p.m. to the
Wapello County Auditor’s Office – 101 W. 4th St., Ottumwa, IA. - October 20, 2025, by 5 p.m. Voter pre-registration deadline.
The deadline to return absentee ballots is Election Day by 8:00 p.m. in the
Wapello County Auditor’s Office. POSTMARKS DON’T COUNT.
