October is National Principals Month, a time dedicated to recognizing the crucial role principals
play in guiding students, supporting educators, and leading schools to success.
In the face of one of the most challenging times in education, Ottumwa’s principals have
demonstrated resilience and innovation, redefining what is possible for students and staff. They
are visionary leaders who shape the future of our communities, and their influence extends far
beyond school walls, impacting and inspiring generations to come.
The Ottumwa Community School District is proud to join this national celebration and express
