It has been over two months since Alexis Hartley Fuller, 17, went missing, and law enforcement, along with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), are asking for the public’s assistance in locating her.

Alexis was last seen on July 12, 2025, after receiving medical care in Des Moines, wearing blue medical-style scrubs. Authorities are particularly concerned for her well-being and emphasize that she may require medical attention.

Alexis’s father, John Fuller, expressed the family’s concern: “We love Alexis and want nothing more than to know that she is safe. Our hearts are heavy with worry, and we hope someone comes forward with information.”

Physical Description:

  • Age: 17
  • Height: 5’3”
  • Weight: 100 lbs
  • Hair: Brown
  • Eyes: Blue
  • Race: White
  • Also may be known as: “Lexi”

Investigators believe Alexis may be in the Des Moines area or surrounding communities. To help generate leads, NCMEC is partnering with GSTV, a national digital video network, to display Alexis’s missing-person poster on gas station screens across Iowa during October.

Anyone with information regarding Alexis’s whereabouts is urged to contact:

  • NCMEC: 1-800-THE-LOST (1-800-843-5678)
  • Des Moines Police Department: 1-515-283-4811
