The Wapello County Farmers Market continues to offer a great mix of locally produced goods twice a week. Held Mondays and Thursdays from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m., the market is located between the Central Addition shelter house and the dog park.
Shoppers can find a wide variety of fresh vegetables, fruits, baked goods, jams and jellies, eggs, homemade noodles, plants, and handcrafted items like needlework. There’s been steady community turnout, with vendors reporting strong interest in both produce and handmade goods. The market remains a great place to support local growers and artisans while connecting with neighbors.
