BLOOMFIELD – Sandra Lee Jennings, 70, of rural Bloomfield, Iowa passed away on January 5, 2025 at the Davis County Hospital in Bloomfield. She was born on May 10, 1954 in Bloomfield to Max and Marie Matthews Hubbartt. She graduated from Davis County High School in 1972.
Sandy worked at Optimae Life Services in home health care for 16 years – a job she enjoyed very much. She was an outgoing person who loved talking with people. She had a soft heart for pets and animals. In her younger years, she enjoyed hunting and fishing. Sandy loved her son, Seth, and her partner in life for over 25 years, Mitch Turner. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her son, Seth (Angie) Jennings of Omaha, Nebraska; granddaughter, Katelyn Jennings of Omaha; nephew, Jason Conley; niece, Caroline Conley; and several great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Cheryl Eastwood.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 17, 2025 at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Pastor Thom Bryant officiating. Her wish was to be cremated. A memorial has been established to her family.
