Brenna Lee Chambers, 24, of Ottumwa, IA, and formerly of Packwood, IA,
passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at the Ottumwa Regional
Hospital in Ottumwa. Family visitation will be held Saturday, January 4, 2025,
10-11 am at Packwood Christian Church, Packwood, IA. A memorial service will
follow at 11 am with words of comfort by Pastor Frosty Van Voorst.
Brenna was born on November 22, 2000, in Iowa City, IA. She attended the
Pekin Community School District and furthered her education by becoming a
Certified Nursing Assistant. Brenna worked in healthcare at several different
locations, offering her compassion and care to others until the birth of her son,
Artemis “Artie” Chambers, on November 4, 2021. Artie brought immense joy into
her life and became the center of her world. Brenna cherished her role as a
mother and showed Artie unconditional love.
A creative soul, Brenna found comfort in the pages of a good book or through her
art, often drawing on whatever she could find as a canvas. Her creativity,
kindness, generous heart and caring spirit brought joy to many. She will be
deeply missed by all who knew her.
Brenna was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents and her maternal
grandfather.
Left to honor her memory are her son, Artemis Chambers; her parents, Ray and
Renota Chambers of Packwood, IA; her four siblings, James Chambers, Alex
(Sarah) Chambers, Evan Chambers, and Nellie Chambers; her grandmother,
Janet Gregory; nieces, Ava, Rhemi, Olivia, Charlotte, and Everly; nephew,
Royce; dear friend Jane Peirce, as well as numerous extended family members
and friends. Brenna’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who
loved her.
