November 11 will mark the 25th year every Hy-Vee store will offer a free breakfast for area veterans.
Hy-Vee says its annual Veterans Day Breakfast will be from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM for all veterans and active-duty members. They will also receive 15% off their groceries when shopping at Hy-Vee, Dollar Fresh Market, and Hy-Vee Fast & Fresh locations.
Additionally, Hy-Vee is holding its annual Hy-Vee Homefront Round Up, where the company teams up with customers to raise money to support organizations that assist veterans, active-duty military members and their families. The fundraiser goes through Nov. 17 at all Hy-Vee stores, Dollar Fresh Market and Hy-Vee Fast & Fresh stores across its eight-state region. Hy-Vee will match all customer donations up to $100,000, with all proceeds benefiting Hope for the Warriors, Operation First Response, American Red Cross and the Puppy Jake Foundation.
