A southeast Iowa man was killed when his motorcycle struck a pickup truck in Wapello County last week.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, 35-year-old Dustin West of Hedrick was riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle southbound on Agency-Hedrick Road shortly before 4:00 PM on September 20.
The accident report states a pickup truck driven by 75-year-old Billy Skinner turned westbound and collided with the motorcycle.
West was declared dead at the scene. Skinner was injured and transported to Ottumwa Regional Health Center.
The accident remains under investigaiton.
