Mahaska Health is pleased to welcome Jessica Aguilera, DO, a board-certified family medicine physician specializing in comprehensive family care, obstetrics, and women’s health.
Dr. Aguilera earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from A.T. Still University’s Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri. She completed her family medicine residency at Broadlawns Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa, where she also served as chief

“It’s important for women and families in our community to feel comfortable asking questions, discussing their health concerns, and knowing they have a caring team supporting them,” shared Dr. Taylar Swartz Summers, OB, Labor & Delivery and GYN Co-Medical Director. “With Dr. Aguilera joining our family medicine team, we’re pleased to offer another compassionate physician dedicated to supporting women through every stage of life, helping families grow, and guiding patients in making informed decisions about their health and well-being.”
