Two individuals were injured in an Appanoose County motor accident on Thursday evening.
36-year-old Rachel Lawrence of Moravia was driving a 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt.
35-year-old Blake Smith of Ottumwa was the driver of a CNTI Tractor.
On August 29 at 8:26 p.m, the Iowa State Patrol says Lawrence and Smith were both traveling North on Highway J3T near 286th Avenue. According to the accident report, Lawrence struck the rear of Smith.
Lawrence and Smith were both transported to MercyOne Clinics in Centerville to treat injuries.
The collision remains under investigation by the Iowa State Patrol.
