The Pit Stop Connection 2024 is currently going on at Jimmy Jones Shelter in Ottumwa Park. The Pit Stop Connection is a free event today from 10am to 4pm hosted by WYD Inc. that provides services for those that are homeless or facing homelessness.
Some of the services offered at the event today include Alcohol and Drug Recovery, Baby Needs, Birth Certificate Forms and Info, Bus Tokens, Care Packages, Clothing, Driver’s License Info /ID Information, Food Stamp Applications, Haircuts, Housing Info, Job Opportunities, Medical Screenings, Mental Health Info, Veteran’s Resources and more.
