An Ottumwa man was arrested after allegedly stealing two guns from a parked vehicle.
18-year-old Jensen Houk was charged with third-degree burglary, an aggravated misdemeanor.
On July 26 at 9:15 AM, court records say Houk entered a car parked at Menards in Ottumwa and stole two firearms. Houk and the victim do not know each other, police say.
A warrant for Houk’s arrest was issued on July 31 and he was taken into custody later that day.
Houk was transported to the Wapello County Jail. He is currently free after posting a $2,000 bond.
