Linda Suzanne Glynn, 77, of Ottumwa, died at 10:22 a.m. August 19, 2024 at Ottumwa Regional Health Center.
She was born December 4, 1946 in St. Louis, MO to John and Dorothy Beene Manion. Linda married Richard W. “Dick” Glynn on August 31, 2000 and he preceded her in death on July 27, 2014.
Linda had attended beauty school in Kirksville, MO. She was a CNA caregiver, doing in-home care, working for TENCO and First Resources.
Linda was a member of Ottumwa Community Church. She was a huge St. Louis Cardinals fan, never missing a game and a big Kansas City Chiefs fan. Linda loved going to NASCAR races with her husband and going to casinos. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are her children, Geoffery (Sandy) Evans of Des Moines, Jonathan (Tara) Richards of Durant, James (Stacey) Evans of Ottumwa and LaRena (Jon) Woten of Ottumwa; step-sons, Greg Glynn and Richie Norris both of Tennessee; 27 grandchildren, Dakota, Mikenna, Mason, Scott, Alyssa, Stephanie, Brian, Corrisma, Ricki, Wyatt, Taylor, Samantha, Paige, Jordan, Tony, Baylee, Maggie, Trailyn, Donovan, Karrah, Caleb, Cooper, Dalton, Taylor, Anna, Tessa and Krista; many great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Dave (Kathy) Manion of Missouri and Richard (Carol) Manion of Florida; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughters-in-law, Terrie Evans and Susie Glynn; brother, Jim Manion; and step-grandson, Christopher Jacobs.
Visitation will be open at 11 a.m. Sunday, August 25th at Reece Funeral Home with the family present to greet friends from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. Cremation will follow the visitation.
A time to celebrate her life will be held at a later date.
