Cole Michael Bainbridge, 31, of Ottumwa, died at 3:25 p.m. August 20, 2024, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
He was born August 26, 1992 in Des Moines to Michael and Brenda Parcel Bainbridge.
A 2011 graduate of Ottumwa High School, Cole had worked at various Hy-Vee stores including as a manager of the North Hy-Vee gas station and most recently for Boitnott Enterprises.
An avid pool and dart player, Cole also enjoyed playing frisbee golf.
Surviving are his parents, Brenda Bainbridge of Ottumwa and Mike (Cindy) Bainbridge of Ottumwa; a sister, Ashley Bainbridge; grandmothers, Gail Bainbridge and Genny Prosser; step-grandmother, Dee Bain; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Jerry Bainbridge and Max Parcel; great-grandparents, Ruby and Willard Shadduck and Ruby Grooms.
Visitation will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, August 25th at Reece Funeral Home with the family present to greet friends from Noon to 2 p.m. Sunday. Cremation will take place after the visitation.
