The closure of West Second Street railroad crossing is extended due to weather, according to the City of Ottumwa.
August 15, the Canadian Pacific Kansas City Railway informed the City of Ottumwa that the completion date of West Second Street has been pushed back to August 23.
The City asks travelers to use the detour on North Forrest Avenue and 150th Street. Signs are placed at the the Chillicothe exit of Highway 63.
