Amber Rose McNeely, 44, of Monticello, formerly of Ottumwa died August 9, 2024 at her home.
She was born July 16, 1980 in Ottumwa to Bobbie and Robbin Sue Wheaton Shelton. She married Tony McNeely and they later divorced.
Amber was a member of Hope City Church in Waterloo where she was a graduate of their Momentum Program.
She loved music and being outdoors. Her most passionate joy was being a mom, her boys were her everything. She was a great friend to many and if there was something you needed she would do her best to get it for you.
Surviving are two sons, Mason Dale McNeely and Kadin Edward Wesley Liles; a daughter that was adopted; her step-father, Tom Crouse; a sister, Emily (Melvyn) Randolph; and special friends, Jason Liles and family.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Robbin Sue Crouse; a sister, Holly Shelton; grandparents, Bob Wheaton, Shirley Wheaton, Virginia Crouse and Charles Crouse; and her dog, Playboi.
Her body has been cremated and a time to celebrate her life will be held at a later date.
