Our area has been upgraded to an enhanced storm risk for tonight. Severe storms are possible tonight and Wednesday. There’s a high uncertainty with storm timing and severity going into tonight due to the previous rounds of storms throughout the day, but periods of storms are possible all night. Overnight storms will be capable of producing damaging winds, large hail, locally heavy rainfall and potentially a tornado.
Storm chances last into Wednesday morning. Then, storms are expected to fire back up Wednesday evening with damaging winds and hail being the primary threats, along with the potential for more heavy rainfall. A tornado can’t be ruled out on Wednesday, but the likelihood is low at this time according to the National Weather Service.
