An Ottumwa man faces charges after allegedly throwing gasoline on his wife.
67-year-old Kenneth Dudley was charged with Threats of Arson, 1st degree Harassment, and Domestic Assault.
On July 11 at 5:30 a.m, court records say Dudley got upset and threatened to kill the victim by burning her to death. He then threw gasoline on her and the bedroom. According to authorities, Dudley and the victim are married and live together.
Dudley was taken to the Wapello County Jail. He has a bond of $5,000 and his preliminary hearing was waived.
