All suspects connected to Tuesday morning’s armed robbery at the Kwik Star in Oskaloosa are now in custody, according to an update from the Oskaloosa Police Department.
As previously reported by Ottumwa Radio, three individuals entered the Kwik Star at 1510 A Avenue West at approximately 10:58 a.m. on Tuesday, August 11th with their faces concealed. At least one displayed what appeared to be a firearm. The suspects took an undisclosed amount of money from an ATM and fled the area. No injuries were reported during the incident.
The coordinated investigation involved the Oskaloosa Police Department, Mahaska County Sheriff’s Office, Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation, and other assisting law enforcement agencies. All individuals believed to be connected to the incident are now in custody.
Names of those involved and additional investigative details are not being released at this time to protect the integrity of the investigation. Additional information will be released when appropriate. Ottumwa Radio will continue to provide updates as more information becomes available.
