The Keb Lane portion of Eddyville Road was temporarily closed as officials fought a vehicle fire on Friday afternoon.
A motor vehicle fire was reported to the Wapello County Sheriff’s Office. The Ottumwa Fire Department, Wapello County Rural Fire, and Wapello County Emergency Management were dispatched to contain the blaze.
No injuries were reported. Authorities say the driver observed the fire and pulled over the vehicle. All of the occupants were able to safely exit the vehicle before it was engulfed in flames.
