Bridge View Center and the Ottumwa RAGBRAI Committee will host a local Battle of the Bands on Saturday, June 1 at 6 p.m. The opportunity to play a set on RAGBRAI’s Main Stage on July 25 and cash prizes are on the line.
Interested bands must submit a video of one of their songs by Private Message to the Ottumwa RAGBRAI 2024 Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/ragbraiottumwa) or email it to [email protected] now through Thursday, April 25 at midnight. Solo, original, and cover artists are all encouraged to enter. Artists must be able to perform a 45-minute set.
All video submissions will be posted on the Ottumwa RAGBRAI Facebook page on Monday, April 29, with voting by Likes on each video through Sunday, May 5. The top 5 videos with the most Likes will be selected to perform at the Battle of the Bands on Saturday, June 1 at Bridge View Center. All votes from any other shared Facebook posts will not be counted – only those votes on the Ottumwa RAGBRAI Facebook posts will be accepted. Bands are encouraged to direct their fans to the Ottumwa RAGBRAI Facebook page to like their videos.
