The final Legislative Forum of the season scheduled for Saturday, April 20 at the Fairfield Arts and Convention Center has been canceled.
Organizers cite the uncertain availability of the legislators as the main reason the event is being canceled.
“As you may have heard, our local legislators are working diligently to finish this session. With several budget bills to get through, they will be working late Friday and most likely Saturday as well. Unfortunately, that means we need to cancel this event.” Statement from Fairfield Area Chamber of Commerce
Organizers say they will attempt to reschedule the event if there is a date that fits the schedules of the area legislators.
