A southeast Iowa woman was arrested after police say she set a porch on fire.
46-year-old Michelle Young of Burlington was charged with reckless use of fire and possession of drug paraphernalia.
A homeowner told Burlington police she watched video footage on her security camera of a woman she did not know starting a fire on her porch.
Police and fire were dispatched to the home. When they arrived, they discovered Young standing on the porch.
Young allegedly told officials that her friend lived in the home and admitted to setting a fire on the porch using miscellaneous items she picked up while walking in the area.
Officers reviewed the video footage, saw Young allegedly starting the fire, and placed her under arrest.
Firefighters were able to put out the fire. Officials say the fire caused minimal damage to the home.
