An internationally acclaimed orchestra is coming to Burlington next weekend.

The Sofia Philharmonic will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, at Burlington Memorial Auditorium, 200 Front St.

Direct from Bulgaria, Sofia Philharmonic is renowned for its captivating performances that blend technical virtuosity with emotional depth. They promise to deliver an unforgettable experience for music enthusiasts of all ages.

Led by principal guest conductor Derek Gleeson and featuring pianist Ivaylo Vassilev, the orchestra will showcase three of Ludwig van Beethoven’s greatest works: Coriolan Overture, Piano (“Emperor”) Concerto No. 5 and a complete performance of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7.
