Former President Donald Trump spoke before a standing-room-only crowd at the Bridge View Center during a campaign stop on Sunday.

During his speech, Trump urged attendees to caucus for him on January 15 calling it the “most important election of your lives.”

“With your support on MOnday, January 15, we’re going to win the Caucuses in a historic landslide.” Former President Donald Trump

Trump also took aim at his Republican opponents Florida Governor Ron Desantis, South Carolina Senator Tim Scott, and his former Vice President Mike Pence.

The former president vowed to be an ally to farmers and blasted the current president in the process.

“When I’m back in the White House, I will save Iowa ethanol by repealing [President] Joe Biden’s absolutely insane job-killing electric vehicle mandate…and today I add a future that protects, defends, and delivers for the American farmer because the American farmer is a big deal.” Former President Donald Trump (via KCCI)

Trump is scheduled to make an appearance in Waterloo later this week. Sunday’s event was Trump’s first in Ottumwa since 2016.
