Kristian Michelle Myers, 23, died June 23, 2023 in El Paso, TX.
She was born August 4, 1999 in Ottumwa to Edward and Nicole Trout. Kristian married Kodie Myers on October 28, 2020.
Growing up in Eldon, she was a 2017 graduate of Cardinal High School where she enjoyed participating in the school plays. Kristian was a 2019 graduate of Indian Hills Community College and Buena Vista University. She worked for 6 ½ years at Fareway in Ottumwa and moved to Texas in May of 2023.
Kristian enjoyed reading drawing, watching anime, spending time with her cat, Tazi and her dog, Survivor, but especially enjoyed time with her family.
Surviving is her husband, Kodie; her mother, Nicole (Ronald) Claman; sister, McKenzie Trout; step-brother, Jeff Claman; grandmother, Betty Covert; nephew, Cole Trout Dunbar; mother-in-law, Etta Merritt; father-in-law, Herbert Myers; sister-in-law, Shelbie Myers; nephew, Izick Falconer and many aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Trout; grandfather, William Eugene Trout Jr.; grandmother, Lynne K. Kemp Trout; and grandfather, William Albert Covert.
Her body has been cremated.
The family will be present to greet friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, July 7th, at Reece Funeral Home.
Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, July 8th at Living Hope Bible Church with Pastor Mark Clark officiating. Inurnment will be in Bethlehem Cemetery.
