Carol Jean Hull, 92, of Ottumwa, died at 4:55 p.m. June 30, 2023 at Oskaloosa Care Center.
She was born February 5, 1931 in Waseca, Minnesota to Harold and Helen Gudknecht Brase. She married Eugene T. Hull January 11, 1953 and he preceded her in death on October 20, 1962.
Growing up in Minnesota, Carol graduated from Owatonna High School and attended the Northwest Institute of Medical Technology. She worked at Ottumwa Hospital as a medical technician from 1951 to 1953.
Surviving is her son, Mark (Barb) Hull of Ottumwa; her grandchildren, Taylor Hull, Neil Gee, and Dan Gee; step-grandson, Tom (Leah) Hallgren; 9 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and her close friend, Linda Larkin.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Linda Kildow; a step-son Ted Hull; and her companion for many years, Dean Cremer.
Graveside services and burial will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 11th at Shaul Cemetery with Pastor Jim Eschenbrenner officiating.
