The Fairfield Community School District selected an interim superintendent to replace the departed Dr. Laurie Noll, who stepped down as superintendent earlier this month.
Stephanie Mishler, the district’s curriculum director, was named Interim Superintendent. Mishler has worked in the Fairfield Community School District since 2018. She has also served as the associate principal at the high school during her time at Fairfield Schools.
During its meeting last week, the Fairfield School Board said it will be actively searching for a candidate to be the superintendent on a permanent basis.
