Police are investigating the death of an Ottumwa man.
On Sunday at 5:07 AM, police were called to a residence on South Moore with a report of a male who sustained a gunshot wound.
When authorities arrived at the scene, it was determined the man was dead. The deceased was identified as 25-year-old Nicholas Austin Roberts-Dicks, who resided in the home.
Roberts-Dicks was transported to the State Medical Examiner’s office for an autopsy. Police say the incident remains under investigation.
