Ottumwa Community Schools will hold the final day of its 2026 Summer Meal Distribution program Thursday, August 13.
Meals will be available from 2 to 3 p.m. for children at five locations throughout Ottumwa. Families can drive up or walk up to receive meals at:
- Ottumwa High School
- Evans Junior High
- Eisenhower Elementary
- Taft Apartments
- JBS UFCW Union Hall
The district’s summer meal program has provided free meals to children age 18 and younger throughout the summer. According to Ottumwa Community Schools, no income requirements or registration are needed to participate.
The district says information about the Ottumwa Schools Food Pantry will be shared soon.
