Residents are invited to take part in a free community conversation focused on hidden camera awareness and protecting personal privacy.
“Revealing the Lens: Hidden Camera Awareness & Personal Privacy” will be held Sunday, September 13, at the Albia Chamber Main Street in Albia. The event will offer two sessions, from 1 to 3 p.m. and again from 4 to 6 p.m.
Organizers say the program will focus on three key areas: awareness, prevention and empowerment. The interactive event is designed to help community members better understand the risks associated with hidden cameras and learn practical ways to protect themselves and others.
Participants will learn how hidden cameras can be concealed, what warning signs to watch for, and what tools and techniques may help safeguard personal privacy. The sessions will also feature real-world scenarios and an opportunity for attendees to participate in an open community conversation.
The event is free and open to the public.
