Two Keosauqua men were arrested and two women were issued summonses following a search warrant executed at a Keosauqua residence on Sunday, July 5th, according to a press release from the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office.
Van Buren County deputies executed the search warrant at a residence in the 800 block of North 4th Street at approximately 5:15 p.m., based on discoveries made during a separate investigation.
Jeremy Viccari, 35, of Keosauqua was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance — Cannabidiol, Third or Subsequent Offense, an aggravated misdemeanor, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor. According to court documents, Viccari was found to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at the residence.
George Cornell, 32, of Keosauqua was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance — Cannabidiol, First Offense, a serious misdemeanor, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor. Cornell admitted to possessing marijuana in his residence prior to the search, according to court documents.
Both Viccari and Cornell were transported to the Van Buren County Jail and were released without bail. Their preliminary hearings are scheduled for July 23rd.
Additionally, Emily Viccari, 39, and Abigail Barkenhagen, 32, were both issued summonses to appear on Possession of Drug Paraphernalia charges.
