A Jefferson County man is facing a felony charge following a child sexual abuse investigation conducted by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, according to a press release from the department.
Neal Lynch, 27, of Lockridge has been charged with Sexual Abuse in the Second Degree, a Class B Felony, and Indecent Contact with a Child, an aggravated misdemeanor.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office received a report of sexual abuse involving an adult male and a juvenile victim in Lockridge on Friday, June 12th. An investigation was conducted and Lynch was identified as the suspect. Warrants for his arrest were issued following the investigation.
Deputies located Lynch and placed him under arrest on Monday, June 22nd at 9:28 p.m. He is currently being held on a $30,000 cash only bond.
