Beginning Monday, January 6, East Fourth Street will be closed from Birch Street to Cherry Street for sanitary and storm sewer work.
The city says residents will have limited access to homes during construction, therefore some parking rules in the area will be relaxed.
The city requests motorists not to block fire hydrants or driveways. Bulky item pick-up will be suspended during this time, but regular trash collection will continue as normal. Work is expected to last through spring. This is part of the ongoing Phase 8 sewer separation project.
