Ottumwa High School will celebrate its 2026 Homecoming on Saturday, October 10, with a parade through downtown Ottumwa.
The parade will begin at the intersection of East Second Street and Union Street. From there, the route will travel west on East Second Street to Market Street, turn north on Market Street for one block, and then continue west on Third Street before ending at North Washington Street.
To accommodate the parade, road closures will begin at approximately 7:00 a.m. Saturday. Roads are expected to reopen by noon.
Motorists traveling through the area during the parade are encouraged to plan ahead, allow extra time and use alternate routes when possible.
Drivers should use caution around the parade route and watch for pedestrians, parade participants and temporary traffic restrictions.
