The Ottumwa Fire Department Local 395 is inviting the community to support a great cause during an upcoming Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) fundraiser and chili cook-off at Godfrey’s Ale House.
More than 10 chili chefs are expected to compete, each bringing their own delicious recipes for attendees to sample. Tasting begins at 11 a.m., giving guests the chance to try the different entries and vote for their favorite.
The chef whose chili receives the most votes will take home the People’s Choice Trophy.
Godfrey’s Ale House has also created a special drink for the occasion called Firehouse Punch.
Community members are encouraged to come out, enjoy some great food, support their favorite chef, and help raise funds for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
The fundraiser offers an opportunity for the community to come together, enjoy friendly competition, and support a meaningful cause alongside the Ottumwa Fire Department Local 395.
