A local Technical Rescue team recently had the opportunity to support John Deere during confined-space operations, providing valuable hands-on experience while assisting the company with its work.
The training and operational support gave team members a chance to refine their confined-space rescue skills and work alongside personnel in an industrial setting.
The team said it is grateful for the opportunity to partner with area businesses and continue building the skills needed to respond effectively during emergencies.
Working with local businesses also helps emergency responders better understand the unique challenges they may encounter when called to an industrial or confined-space incident.
