James Duaine Morrow, 74, of Ottumwa passed away August 18, 2026.
He was born May 9, 1952 to James and Marjorie Morrow in Ottumwa. James married Margaret Jane Gordon June 9, 2012.
A 1971 graduate of Ottumwa High School, James was a resident of Ottumwa his entire life. He owned and operated the Morrow Donut Shop in Ottumwa with his Aunt Lena. He also worked at John Morrell & Co before working at John Deere Ottumwa Works, retiring after 37 years.
James enjoyed collecting records and coins, watching old westerns and browsing antique shops.
Surviving is his wife, Jane; his son, James Jesse Morrow of Norwalk; stepchildren, Justin (Caree) Gordon of Pella, Jessie (Ted) Renskers of Laporte, MN; and 2 grandchildren, Caden and Kinsley.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Tom Kildahl; and his beloved dog, Holly.
Visitation with his family present to greet friends will be from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Saturday August 22nd at Reece Funeral Home.
Graveside services and burial will be 11 a.m. Saturday August 22nd at Memorial Lawn Cemetery with Pastor Chet Coolbaugh officiating.
