Motorists who travel across the Lake Red Rock Dam should plan for alternate routes this week as the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has announced a full closure of Highway T15 across the dam beginning today and continuing through Friday.
The closure is necessary to allow contractors to continue work on refurbishing gate components at Red Rock Dam, an important part of ongoing maintenance efforts at the facility.
Officials noted that additional partial and full road closures may be required at various times throughout 2026 as work progresses. Drivers are encouraged to stay informed and plan ahead for potential traffic disruptions.
