An Ottumwa man was arrested after allegedly injuring his child during a physical altercation in his home.
Ryan McNabb, 39, was charged with child endangerment – bodily injury, a Class D felony.
On September 7th at approximately 10:40 PM, court records say McNabb, who was allegedly intoxicated, was involved in a verbal argument with his wife in their home on the 200 block of West Harrod Avenue in Ottumwa.
Police say McNabb’s two children became involved in the altercation. McNabb and his 15-year-old son engaged in a physical fight and had to be broken up by McNabb’s wife, according to court documents.
McNabb is also accused of closing a door on his six-year-old child which led to a small abrasion on the child’s back.
McNabb was arrested and transported to the Wapello County Jail where he is being held without bond pending a hearing with a magistrate judge.
