State Farm Agent Shawn McCarty, serving southeast Iowa from his office at 604 W Burlington in Fairfield, along with Ottumwa Radio Group, would like to congratulate Cardinal Softball player Maclain Hickenbottom, our 104.3 KRKN Athlete of the Week!
The freshman pitcher stifled a pair of opponents to start the season last week. Hickenbottom allowed one run and struck out seven in a nine-inning win at Davis County, then followed up with 12 strikeouts while allowing only two runs in a win over Knoxville.
