The Jefferson County Farm Bureau has named Archer Kreuter, a senior at Fairfield High School, as one of this year’s scholarship recipients.
Kreuter is the son of David and Michelle Kreuter. Following graduation, he plans to attend Cornell College, where he will major in Business Economics and minor in Education.
Throughout his high school career, Kreuter has been involved in a wide range of activities including FBLA, National Honor Society, Student Advisory Group, baseball, golf, bowling, band, Jazz Band, Gamers Baseball Academy, and Fairfield Baseball Club. He has also held leadership roles, serving as Treasurer of FBLA and representing student voices through the Student Advisory Group.
Agriculture has played an important role in Kreuter’s life through his family background. His mother and grandparents were raised on farms, and while he did not grow up on a farm himself, he has fond memories of visiting, watching harvest, and spending time with his grandfather.
Following college, Kreuter plans to return to Fairfield, where he hopes his business degree will open the door to a variety of career opportunities and allow him to stay involved in community activities and public events, continuing to give back to the place he calls home.
The Jefferson County Farm Bureau congratulates Kreuter on the achievement and wishes him success in his educational pursuits and future career.
