Gerald Ross Allgood was born in Mahaska Co Iowa March 11th 1932, passed away Nov. 12, 2025.
Graduated from Bussey Iowa High School and obtained An Agricultural Science degree at Iowa State University In 1955. After participating in ROTC, he married his college sweet heart Marilyn Joyce Blome from Illinois and served in the Air Force. After various career moves he became an industrial sales manager and settled In Wichita Ks. He was a caring father, husband, family member and active within the community. He will be missed by many. He is proceeded in death by his mother and father; Hap(Harold) and Geraldine (Mary), sister Carolyn Scala, wife Marilyn, and son David.
He is survived by:
His Three Daughters: Karen, Lynn; and her husband Pat; Susan; and her husband Ted,
and his daughter-in-law Carisa, brother Bernie (Bernerd) his wife Gail; and sister Marilyn Bonnett.
Nine grand children, eight great-grandchildren and many caring extended family members.
Memorial services for Gerald will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Langkamp Funeral Chapel in Oskaloosa. The family will greet visitors from 9 a.m. to service time. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery near Eddyville. Military Honors will be provided by the Oskaloosa Honor Guard. Memorial contributions may be made to the Iowa 4-H Foundation.
