A 21-year-old Bettendorf man has been reported missing, prompting authorities to ask for the public’s help in locating him.
According to information from the Iowa Missing Person Information Clearinghouse, Jamarius Costella Johnson was last known to have been in contact on June 6, 2026. He is described as a Black male, standing 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing approximately 150 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
Law enforcement officials are encouraging anyone who may have seen Johnson or has information about his whereabouts to contact the Bettendorf Police Department or the Iowa Missing Person Information Clearinghouse.
Authorities stress that members of the public should not attempt to approach or intervene if they believe they have located the missing individual. Instead, they are asked to gather as much information as possible, including the exact location, any vehicle descriptions, license plate numbers, or other relevant details, and immediately report that information to law enforcement.
