The Ignite Youth Group at the 1st Christian Reformed Church of Oskaloosa is inviting the community to start Memorial Day with a hearty breakfast and a good cause.
A Memorial Day Pancake Breakfast will be held Monday, May 25, from 7:00 to 10:00 a.m. in the church fellowship hall, located just south of Forest Cemetery at 815 N. 11th St. in Oskaloosa.
The menu will include pancakes (with gluten-free options available upon request), sausage, cinnamon rolls, fruit cups, and beverages. Guests can dine in or choose a convenient to-go option.
A free-will offering will be accepted during the event, with all proceeds supporting the group’s 2026 summer mission trip to Loveland, Colorado. There, the youth will partner with the non-profit organization Serve 6.8 to assist with community-focused service work.
