The Fairfield Community School District is once again participating in the Summer Food Service Program, providing free weekly grab-and-go meals to any child ages 2 through 18 in the community. The program runs from June 8th through July 28th, 2026, with meals distributed out of the Fairfield Middle School at 404 W. Fillmore.

Each weekly package includes seven breakfasts, seven lunches, and a gallon of milk. Meals are available for pickup on Monday evenings from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. and on Tuesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Families must sign up weekly through fairfieldsfuture.org — click on “Grab and Go Meals” to register. Sign-up opens each Thursday through Sunday for the following week’s meals, with the first sign-up opening Thursday, June 4th. Meals are provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

Parents, guardians, or the children themselves who are signed up must be present to pick up meals. Meals cannot be picked up on behalf of children in other households, and delivery is not available.

For questions, contact FCSD Food Service Director Stephanie Hawkins at 641-472-2655, ext. 6703.
